Job summary

Elior North America, operating under the Cura-Hospitality brand, seeks an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in the Pittsburgh area. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support residents’ quality of life according to goals and standards.

You will educate staff and residents, adhere to standards of practice, and collaborate across departments to improve dining services and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination (CDR) or eligibility per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to development and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
