Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for a healthcare setting in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with residents' goals.

The role emphasizes working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal dining services and nutrition care. Responsibilities include applying standards of practice, educating staff and residents, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Passes the national exam from CDR or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR standards.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish procedures and policies related to dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and updating continuous quality improvement programs.
