Job summary

Elior Living is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the Cura-Hospitality healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, design interventions, and collaborate with the care team to support resident well-being.

Responsibilities include providing dietary expertise, adhering to standards of practice, coordinating with departments, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pass national exam by the CDR or eligible for eligibility.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
