Job summary

Elior North America, at Cura-Hospitality, is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center – Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support residents' quality of life in line with goals.

You will educate staff, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, collaborate with care teams, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
