Job summary

Elior North America, in partnership with Cura-Hospitality, is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, identify interventions to support patients’ nutritional status, and help improve quality of life aligned with residents’ goals.

Collaborating with the health care team, you’ll provide nutrition expertise, educate patients and staff, follow standards of practice, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement

Qualifications

• CDR exam passed or eligible per the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition expertise to the care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
