Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents and implement interventions to maintain or improve nutritional status, enhancing quality of life aligned with goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutrition expertise to the care team, educating patients and staff, adhering to practice standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by the state.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
