Job summary

Cura-Hospitality seeks an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J. Kane Regional Center – Scott in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life in accordance with patient goals. You will work with the health care team, adhere to Academy standards and facility regulations, and contribute to dining service policies and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the CDR national exam or be eligible per ADA requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to educate others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs development and review.
