Job summary

Southwest Foodservice Excellence in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead school nutrition programs, shape USDA-compliant menus, and increase student participation while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The RD will partner with district leaders, conduct site reviews, manage menu analysis and production records, support dietary accommodations, train staff, and travel across the district to provide onsite guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential with an active license.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned school district.

Responsibilities

• Develop USDA-compliant menus that maximize nutrition and participation.
• Ensure all meals meet USDA, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct site reviews and audits and implement corrective actions.
• Manage menu analysis, production records, and compliance reporting.
• Support students with dietary accommodations and allergies.
• Train school nutrition teams on software, records, and standards.
• Travel district-wide to provide onsite guidance and support.
