Southwest Foodservice Excellence, LLC in Dearborn, MI, seeks an experienced leader to ensure school meals programs remain compliant with federal and state regulations under contract management. The role involves travel to districts for training and support about 60% of the year.

The ideal candidate will have school nutrition experience or related food service background, with preference for RDN/BS in Nutrition. Advanced MS Office skills and travel planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Experience in school nutrition or related field preferred but not required.
• BS in Nutrition or related field; RDN preferred.
• Job requires travel; approximately 60% of the calendar year.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to plan travel.

Responsabilités

• Develops and provides training and ongoing development in menu planning, nutrition and compliance standards; creates materials to support training initiatives.
• Ensures compliance by enforcing knowledge of state, federal, local, and company standards and regulations.
• Provides menu support through training, monitoring and feedback; develops menus as needed.
• Communicates regulations, compliance, company standards, nutrition, menu planning and wellness to audiences as needed.
• Develops innovative solutions to obstacles.
• Maintains menu planning software and nutrition database.
• Other duties as assigned.
