Job summary

Aramark's Student Nutrition division is seeking a Registered Dietitian to design nutritionally sound, cost-efficient school meal programs compliant with USDA guidelines. You will collaborate with OpX, culinary, and management teams to implement healthy menus and nutrition standards across districts.

The role requires RD eligibility within 6 months, a bachelor’s degree with ACEND accreditation, internship completion, and ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nutrition with ACEND accreditation or approval
RDN eligible within 6 months of hire
Internship program completion (ACEND) with exam and CE requirements
Maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, or credentials

Responsibilities

Plan Child Nutrition menus using a menu planning software per USDA guidelines.
Maintain documentation for USDA, state, and local guidelines (CN/PFS labels, USDA Workbooks).
Coordinate USDA Foods/Commodities within menus and assist with annual orders.
Oversee purchasing compliance and accuracy; review food orders as needed.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure stocking, availability, and delivery.
Visit school cafes regularly to audit operations (cost, allergen readiness, reviews).
Assist with new employee training on food safety, recipe compliance, portioning.
Support dietary accommodations for students and training of staff.
Educate clients and communities about healthy food choices and wellness policies.
