Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Pottsville, PA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our caregiving team. The RD will design individualized meal plans, provide nutrition counseling to residents and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being.

Responsibilities include assessments, counseling, care plan development, progress monitoring, staying current with research in gerontological nutrition, and contributing to nutrition policies.

Competenze

• Must be a registered dietitian (RD) or eligible for registration with the CDR.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with gerontological dietetics preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Conduct assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans addressing nutritional needs.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust meal plans as necessary.
