Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to support residents with personalized meal plans, nutrition counseling, and collaboration with our interdisciplinary care team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nutritional care within a gerontological setting.

The RD will assess needs, educate residents and families, and contribute to care plans, while staying current with nutrition research and participating in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered dietitian (RD) or eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on gerontological dietetics preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust meal plans as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with research in nutrition and gerontological dietetics.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and policy development.
