Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to oversee clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. You will assess residents' nutrition needs, develop care plans, and provide counseling to residents, families, and staff.

The position offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexibility and coverage across buildings as needed, with a pay rate of $35–$40 per hour. Eligible candidates hold an RD credential and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/licensure in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and nutrition regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliant as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site, must have a valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, labs, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents'/patients' health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
