Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD).
• Current Certification/License in good standing in state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with effective communication to staff and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state/local/customers.
• If multi-site RD, must have a valid driver's license.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutrition needs and document the plan within the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical data.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
