Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life consistent with residents’ goals.

Responsibilities include educating the care team and residents, adhering to practice standards, and collaborating across departments to improve dining services and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participating in continuous quality improvement programs.
