Job summary

Cura Hospitality is hiring a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. The RD will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, develop interventions to maintain or improve status, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

As a licensed professional, you will educate the care team, ensure regulation standards are followed, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligibility through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
