Job summary

Park Royal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery in a behavioral health setting. The role includes developing dietary-care plans, counseling patients, and coordinating with a treatment team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and comprehensive benefits are provided.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, is or is eligible for licensure, and has experience in eating disorders and substance use within such facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition acceptable for licensure.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and health plans to develop dietary-care plans.
• Approve menus and nutritional supplements for patients.
• Counsel patients and families on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy and regulations.
• Review and approve facility diet manuals with medical staff.
