Park Royal Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery in a behavioral health setting at Park Royal Hospital. The role includes leading dietary plans, counseling patients and families, and collaborating with the medical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar field acceptable for licensure.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and diet restrictions to develop dietary-care plans.
• Approve menus and nutritional supplements.
• Counsel patients and families on nutrition and healthy eating.
• Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy.
• Review and approve facility menus.
• Counsel individuals and groups on nutrition and monitoring.
• Consult with physicians to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions.
• Participate in treatment team as appropriate.
• Promote health via talks on diet and disease prevention.
• Monitor food service operations for safety and quality.
