Job summary

Park Royal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery in a behavioral health setting. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

You will assess nutritional needs, develop dietary-care plans, counsel patients, and collaborate with the treatment team to support mental health and recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar field acceptable for licensure.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and develop dietary-care plans with counseling.
• Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
• Advise patients and families on nutrition principles and diet plans.
• Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy and regulation.
• Review and approve facility menus.
• Counsel individuals and groups on healthy eating habits.
