Job summary

Park Royal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery within a behavioral health setting. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, approve menus, and counsel patients and families on dietary plans to support treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar field acceptable for licensure.
• Experience with eating disorders and substance use strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
• Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
• Advise patients and families on nutritional principles and diet plans.
• Participate in treatment team with physicians and health care personnel.
