Job summary

Park Royal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery within a behavioral health setting. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package and day shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, current RD status or eligibility for licensure, and experience with eating disorders/substance use is preferred. Join us to support patients and work with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar field acceptable for licensure.
• Current registered dietitian or eligibility for endorsement by the state in which the facility provides services.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations.
• ServSafe certification or similar food safety certification where required by the state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
• Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
• Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modifications and food selection and preparation.
• Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy and regulation.
• Review and approve menus developed by the facility.
• Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.
