Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to plan and deliver nutritional care to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and regulatory standards. You will follow health, sanitation and infection control policies and uphold the community’s dietary policies.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition, active state licensure, and COD registration, along with 2 years’ experience in long-term care or 1 year as an RD consultant.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition.
• Active state licensure as a Registered Dietitian and COD registration.
• 2 years in long-term care with admin exposure or 1 year as RD consultant.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver nutritional care to residents per physicians' orders and standards.
• Follow health, sanitation and infection control policies.
• Uphold the community's Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to plan and deliver nutritional care to residents in accordance with the physicians’ orders and with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition and must hold an active state license as a Registered Dietitian.
• Must maintain active membership and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Must possess two (2) years of experience as a professional dietitian or dietetic technician in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one (1) year experience as a registered consulting dietitian.
• Must possess working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
