Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Ortho Registered Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

The position requires California Registered Dental Assistant license, CPR/BLS certification, X-Ray Certification, and Coronal Polish where applicable; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience and/or training.
• BiLingual in Spanish, preferred.
• California Registered Dental Assistant License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Summary:

The Ortho Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $20.77-$27.84/hour (Based on experience)

Responsibilities
