Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a pediatric dentistry team in California. The role supports dentists, orthodontists, and anesthesiologists, with emphasis on patient care and chairside assistance.

Responsibilities include x-ray imaging, charts, prophylaxis, patient instruction, and sterilization. California RDA license, X-ray cert, and BLS are required; Coronal Polish and Sealant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or formal dental assistant program preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• California Registered Dental Assistant License required.
• X-Ray Certification required.
• Coronal Polish Certification and Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophies teeth and instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Charts and treatment plans with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Sets up and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's (intraoral impressions/records).
• Charting and sealants as applicable.

Pay per hour $24.00 to $28.00 ( plus bonus $ plan for sealants )

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• BIlingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
