Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Modesto, CA to support dental care delivery by preparing rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, and by assisting with procedures under the supervision of the dentist.

The role requires a California Registered Dental Assistant license, X-ray certification, and current BLS; coronal polish is required with sealant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.

• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $20.77-27.84/hour (Based on experience)

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
