Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and anesthesiologists in a modern, friendly clinic. The role involves room prep, instrument handling, and assisting with procedures, with emphasis on patient care and safety.

The ideal candidate has dental assistant certification or 3+ months of related experience, plus potential Spanish language skills. Compensation is hourly and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant or 3+ months related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in procedures.
• Operate x-ray equipment and take x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Summary

The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range

$20.77-$28.00 /hour (based on experience)

Education and/or Experience

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
