Job summary

Dental Kidz Club in Riverside, CA is seeking a compassionate pediatric dental assistant to greet children and families, assist clinicians, and maintain a welcoming, clean environment. The role supports radiographs, impressions, and chair-side procedures with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months of pediatric dental experience, CPR/BLS, and CODA-accredited training. Compensation starts at $19–$23/hour (with RDA), plus a $500 sign-on bonus and growth

Qualifications

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant.
• CPR or BCLS certification.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with a friendly, respectful approach.
• Ensure patients are informed and comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and equipment.
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during procedures.
• Document dental care services in patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health

Clinical Support

• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during treatment procedures
• Document dental care services by charting in patients' records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment

Requirements

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant
• CPR or BCLS certification
• Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Quick learner with problem-solving skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
• Organized, with solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
