Job summary

Tahir R Paul Dental Corp / Kidz Care Dental Group in California seeks a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join a busy pedo/ortho team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and handle scheduling tasks, bringing compassion to patient care.

A state license and at least two years of experience are preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Ideal candidates are friendly, professional, and committed to delivering a positive dental experience for children and families.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensure or in process.
• Coronal polishing, dental x-ray, and sealant certifications.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with parents and answer questions they have.
• Perform recall appointments including coronal polishing, x-rays, sealants, and SDF.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
