Qualifications

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant.
• CPR or BCLS certification.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Quick learner with problem-solving skills.
• Ability for professional conduct and confidentiality.
• Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth.
• Organized with solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
• Explain treatments and oral health information to patients before, during, and after appointments.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment.
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during procedures.
• Document dental care services by charting in patients' records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric workspace.

Pay:$23.00/hour and up with RDA; $19.00/hour and up without RDA

Responsibilities

Clinical Support
