Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support our dentist and deliver quality patient care in a busy dental office in Oceanside, CA. The role emphasizes accuracy, comfort, and infection-control best practices while assisting with procedures and patient education.

Responsibilities include room prep, instrument handling, X-ray capture, chart updates, inventory management, and some front-office tasks. CPR/BLS and RDA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Registered Dental Assistant certification required.
• Experience with X-ray procedures and dental instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed
