Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist in California. The role supports clinical and front-office duties, including room setup, instrument sterilization, patient comfort, and basic patient education.

The position requires CPR/BLS certification and an active RDA license, with compensation of $23–$24 per hour. Schedule is Monday–Saturday; benefits vary with employment status.

Qualifications

• Must have certs to be hired: RDA license and CPR/BLS.
• Willing to work Monday–Saturday and be open to entry level RDA.
• Ability to assist dentist and manage patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed
