Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our dentist and support the clinical team. The position involves room preparation, instrument sterilization, and assisting during procedures to ensure patient comfort.

You will also take and develop X-rays and help educate patients on proper oral hygiene. Ideal candidates hold CPR/BLS certification, are a Registered Dental Assistant, and can manage patient records along with front-office tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR or BLS certification and be a registered dental assistant.
• Experience assisting dentists and maintaining patient comfort.
• Ability to take and develop dental X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
