ProSmile is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support our clinical teams in Edison, NJ. You will assist dentists chairside, manage records and scheduling, and work under the supervision of the Dental Practice Manager.

This role requires an NJ RDA license, X-ray license, CPR certification, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• X-ray License required.
• Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Active CPR Certification required.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Willing to pursue licensure immediately if not licensed.
• DRT license preferred.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside with patient care and instruments.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Schedule follow-up treatments and record keeping.
• Perform basic lab procedures such as impressions and models.
• Remove excess cement from crowns/orthodontic appliances.
• Fabricate and cement temporary crowns and bridges.
• Place and remove rubber dam and clamp.
• Prepare orthodontic bands and temporary crowns intra-orally.
• Place and remove arch wires.
• Maintain public area appearance.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
