Job summary

ProSmile, a fast-growing dental organization, is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant in Neptune Township, NJ. You will support clinicians, manage chairside care, and help with scheduling and records under supervision of dentists.

Qualifications include NJ RDA license, DRT license or willingness to pursue, CPR, and 1+ year experience. Benefits package includes medical/dental/vision and 401(k). This is a full-time, on-site role with potential evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• X-ray License required.
• Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Active CPR Certification is required.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Willing to pursue licensure immediately required.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• Registered Dental Assistant License preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends if needed.
• Easily able to learn new technologies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside with patient care.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Deliver world-class patient interactions related to scheduling and record keeping.
• Perform basic lab procedures such as taking impressions and preparing cases for external labs.
• Place and remove arch wires and ligature wires.
• Fabricate and cement temporary crowns and bridges after tooth preparation.
• Remove excess cement from restorations and appliances.
• Risk-free handling of intra-oral details and diagnostic models.
• Maintain public area appearance and support other duties as assigned.
