Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support clinical needs under dentist supervision. Duties include patient care, recordkeeping, and scheduling, with collaboration from dental hygienists in daily activities.

Requirements include NJ license (DRT) or licensure willingness, X-ray license, CPR, and 1+ year experience. Positions are full-time in NJ with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• NJ DRT license or willing to pursue licensure immediately required.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• Registered Dental Assistant License preferred.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires scheduling flexibility including evenings and weekends.
• X-ray License required.
• Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant license
• Active CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside and demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments.
• Maintain inventory control in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Deliver world-class patient interactions for scheduling and follow-up.
• Perform basic lab procedures and impressions preparation for external labs.
• Place and remove arch wires and ligature wires.
• Maintain public area appearance and perform misc. duties as assigned
