Job summary

ProSmile is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to support clinical needs across our offices. Responsibilities include chairside patient care, recordkeeping, and scheduling under the supervision of dentists and in collaboration with dental hygienists.

Qualifications include a NJ DRT license or willingness to pursue licensure, CPR, and prior dental assisting experience. On-site positions with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Easily learn new technologies and systems.
• NJ-specific licensing: DRT license or willingness to pursue licensure.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• Registered Dental Assistant license preferred.
• 1+ years experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• X-ray License required.
• Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Active CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Chairside dental assistance and patient care under dentist supervision.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-up treatment and record keeping.
• Perform basic lab procedures and prepare cases for external labs.
• Place and remove arch wires and ligature wires.
• Support public area appearance and general duties as assigned.
