Job summary

East Murrieta Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist with patient care, x-rays, and intra‑oral photography. You will help ensure a calm, efficient visit, educate patients about treatments, and prepare operatory spaces according to safety guidelines.

The role requires an RDA credential with state licensure, and an associate degree or certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• RDA credential and applicable state licenses required.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• High school diploma or GED with mandated training and licensure.

Responsibilities

• The primary role is to assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors for efficient care.
• At dentist's direction, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and basic oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies).

Education

Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience

High school diploma or GED with state-mandated training

Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state
