Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-required certification.
• Associates degree or certificate is preferred.
• Applicable radiography and coronal polish certifications required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms, assist doctors, and ensure efficient, quality dental care.
• Take X-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
