PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant in Merced, CA. The RDA will support the dentist in delivering high-quality treatment, educate patients with intra-oral visuals, and ensure efficient operatory flow.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with state-m mandated coursework.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as required by the state.
• AA degree or 1-year certificate preferred, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take X-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care.
• Sterilize/disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with state/federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
