Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Round Rock, TX to support dentists in delivering outstanding patient care. The role emphasizes efficient chair-side assistance, patient education, and accurate documentation of radiographs and intra-oral images.

You will maintain sterile environments, follow ADA and regulatory guidelines, and help ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in through post-treatment care.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-mandated certifications/licensures (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take X-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories according to ADA guidelines.
• Comply with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

Education

GED or high school diploma
