Round Rock Modern Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering high-quality patient care in Round Rock, TX. You will assist with procedures, take radiographs, educate patients, and help maintain a clean, sterile environment.

The role emphasizes efficient chair-side support, adherence to safety standards, and a focus on delivering an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling for orthodontic procedures, pit and fissure sealant application, etc)
• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment while addressing patient needs
• Maintain a clean, sterile, cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment, assisting the doctors
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories according to ADA guidelines
• Comply with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies)

Formation
