Salary: $20.00 - $27.00 / Hourly

Position Overview

Registered Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The primary role of the RDA is to assist the dentist in providing excellent patient care and gaining patient commitment to treatment with urgency. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist in treatment initiation and patient education, including intra-oral imaging and effective chair-side support
• Supporting the dentist’s diagnosis and patient inquiries post-examination
• Ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to secure patient commitment for treatment
• Contribute to the Perfect Patient ExperienceÔ by addressing patient needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment; prepare patients and assist during procedures
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per ADA guidelines
• Comply with all relevant regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with required state training/certification
• Relevant certifications/licenses as mandated by state (e.g., radiography, sealants)
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited institution preferred
