Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 / Hourly

Job Overview

Registered Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The primary role of the RDA is to assist the dentist in providing the best possible treatment with urgency. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment
• Participating in the Perfect Patient ExperienceÔ by focusing on optimal treatment and patient needs
• Maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment
• Completing x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed
• Instructing patients on postoperative and oral health care
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with required state training courses
• Relevant certifications/licenses as mandated by state (e.g., radiograph, ultrasonic scaling)
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited institution preferred
