Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Job Description

We are a family-focused comprehensive dental office providing general care, implants, IV sedation, and short-term ortho. Since 19XX, we have built a great team and patient base.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the dentist and provide direct patient care.
2. Perform sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.
3. Serve as chairside assistant, passing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clear visual field.
4. Prepare operatory for patient treatment and perform digital x-rays and intra-oral photos.
5. Record treatment details and assist in patient seating and preparation.
6. Take impressions for diagnostic casts and pour casts.
7. Maintain sterilization protocols.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Licenses and Certifications: Nitrous Oxide and X-Ray Certification, Registered Dental Assistant (Required).

Work Environment

Regular exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and needle sticks. Must lift/move up to 10 pounds and be able to sit, walk, stand, and use hands regularly.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with one Friday per month 8 am - 12 pm.
