Salary Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Job Description

Registered Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The primary role of the RDA is to assist the dentist in providing excellent patient care and gaining patient commitment for treatment. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist to promote treatment acceptance with urgency
• Participating in the Perfect Patient Experience® by focusing on patient needs and concerns
• Maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment
• Preparing patients for treatment and assisting the dentist during procedures
• Taking x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed
• Instructing patients on postoperative and oral health care
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment according to ADA guidelines
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional certification as required by state
• Relevant certifications/licenses (e.g., radiograph, coronal polish, etc.)
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited program preferred
