Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered at St. Anne Hospital in Ohio. You will perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and stress testing, contribute to diagnostic evaluation, and document findings in the EHR. On-call hours are required.

Applicants typically have a cardiovascular tech associate degree and certification (RDCS/ RCS) with 1+ year of experience. EPIC EHR and PACS familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in cardiovascular technology or related field preferred.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart during TTE, TEE and stress testing.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepares and monitors patients before and during procedures.
• Utilizes the hospital EHR to review patient information and document findings.
• On-call hours required.
