Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to perform clinical ultrasound exams and support patient care in a fast-paced radiology setting.

The role requires graduates from AMA-approved programs, BCLS certification, and a willingness to work with diverse patient populations. This on-site position offers growth within a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures per standards.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment and communicates with staff and radiologists.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to established practices.
