Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and related invasive procedures in a patient‑centered radiology team. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure quality imaging, and support patient care across all ages from neonates to geriatrics.

The role requires graduation from an AMA‑accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and BCLS certification, with no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
