Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer III to join our imaging team. This on-site role requires ARDCS or RCS credentials with two specialties, BCLS, and a diagnostic sonography program completion. Two years of hospital sonography experience is preferred.

You will perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures, caring for patients across neonate to geriatrics, and collaborate closely with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer registered in at least 2 specialties Required or
• RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer registered in at least 2 specialites Required
