Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA, seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures. You will provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations and collaborate with radiologists to ensure quality imaging.

Ideal candidates have AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography training, at least 2 years of hospital-based experience, and current BCLS with ARDCS or RCS in multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• 2 years of related hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonography experience required.
• Licenses: BCLS, ARDCS or RCS with required specialties.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provides patient services using ultrasound equipment and demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists and provides care to all age groups.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
